Cons: I don’t really have any criticism of the product. It’s just too bad Jimmy is not sharing his affiliate manager. Sometimes it seems as if it is geared for beginners -a good thing for some but not others.

Personal Opinion:

I like how “step-by-step” this product is. While it is great for a beginner who doesn’t have an affiliate program in place yet, it also contains plenty of advanced ideas and strategies that helped improve my current affiliate program. After going through the audio and transcript for the first time, I came up with 2 pages of ideas and changes that I am currently working on implementing.

I also have a better understanding of the role an affiliate manager plays in the process.

While I would never suggest abandoning the concept of
delivering high quality content to your subscribers, there
is another type of list composed of subscribers who couldn’t
care less about content.

“What is this type of list?” you ask. 

    – > The “announcement list”.

I’ve been teaching about the “announcement” list since
at least 2002 (on record at an event).  And, yet, it’s a
widely untapped asset in most email marketing circles.

The main reason is:  nobody’s teaching it.  And so,
nobody knows anything about it, let alone how to effectively
create one of these lists.

So, we’re going to revisit it.

What Is An “Announcement” List?

DEFINED:  An announcement list is a list whose sole purpose
is to “announce” (I.E. Inform, notify) when something new
is available for review, consumption or purchase.

In other words, it unapologetically says, “Hey, I just
released XYZ.  Come check it out!” 

Now, at first glance you may be thinking, “Who would join a
list that offers no content and only sales pitch?”

If you say it that way, it doesn’t sound too good to me
either!  That’s why you don’t say it that way.  Let’s take
a look at HOW to “say it”…

There are a wide variety of “announcement” lists that you
can build.  Let’s briefly look at ten of them…

* PLR List.  You can swipe my idea and create a list of
  private label rights buyers.

* New Offers List.  Build a list of people who love your
  work and want to be notified any time you have a new
  offer available.

* Pre-Launch List.  Create buzz and anticipation for an
  upcoming new product release by building a pre-launch
  list several weeks (even months) in advance.

* Ezine Publishers List.  Build a list of publishers who
  want to know any time you have a new ezine article
  that is available for reprint in their ezines.

* Bloggers List.  Another idea is to allow bloggers who
  are looking for ready-made content to post to their blogs.

* Industry News List.  How about becoming the “go to”
  guy or gal to share breaking news about your industry?

* Joint Venture List.  Develop a list of partners and
  affiliates who are ready to promote anytime you have a
  new offer.

* Incentives List.  Here’s a great idea – create a list of
  people who you offer “incentives” to when they purchase
  someone else’s new product through YOUR affiliate link.

* Freebie List.  Regularly give away rebrandable content
  (reports, articles, videos, etc.) to these subscribers
  to earn commissions.

While all ten of these lists aren’t necessarily “buyers”
up front, they each can certainly lead to buyers and revenue
for you if you implement them.

Content is king.  But let’s not forget that there are alot
of queens, princes, dukes and earls out there too.

Blog owners can also help to increase their search engine rankings by generating back links to their blog. This can be accomplished in a number of different ways.

One way to do this is to find other websites willing to place a link to the blog on their website. This is beneficial because many search engines factor the number of links to a website into their ranking algorithm because these links are considered to be one website vouching for the validity of another website.

Some website owners may be willing to do this in return for a link to their website on your blog. This is known as reciprocal linking and some search engines may not value this link as highly as a link which is not reciprocated.

There are also some link exchange programs but these links may not be beneficial because many search engines consider the rank of the website linking to your blog. Therefore, if the website linking to your blog does not rank well, the back link will not improve search engine rankings significantly.

There is a very viral system  that I recommend . Once you start it the links, traffic and commissions grow almost bythe mselves. (Actually via other people doing the
work for you but you get the idea.)

1. Goto the concerned forum(DP, WF or any damn one) and create a throwaway account.

2. Get hold of an ebook/product with a great sales page.

3. Goto the concerned thread where the ebook you want is being sold and identify from the posts on that thread the people who have already bought the book (they’ll have made comments like: ‘great ebook!’ ‘awesome method, already making money with this’ etc.)

4. PM all these people with a msg that looks something like this:

Google puts a tremendous amount of emphasis on link popularity and link reputation when determining rank. This determined through their Page Rank system. Remember, it is Page Rank not Site Rank. With Google, each page has its own Page Rank. PageRank is a numerical rating from 0-10 with 10 being the highest. This number is determined by the quantity and quality of incoming links. For example, a link from the Yahoo! Directory and one from an obscure site both count as one link. However, there is a difference in quality. One quality link can carry the same benefit as 100+ poor quality links. Using your keyword phrase in the link text (anchor text) for incoming links is extremely important. This is can be very more important in keyword sniping. Remember, you want important and related links, not just any links.

The common troubles for an online marketer is worrying if they would obtain the backlink of the High Page Rank website, and if the backlink would increase their website page rank. John finally finds 20 web pages with a PR of 3 and over, and starts posting links on the websites. He waits for 1 whole month to check if he had obtained backlinks from those high PR web pages. Sadly, John’s web page had obtained only 3 out of 20 backlinks from the previous web pages he submitted links to. In addition, his web page is also left with the PR of 0. Why? Well, the other page rank might have had a “no follow tag” on their high pr webpage. The “nofollow” actually means “don’t trust” or “don’t pass PageRank” to the page this link references.

What is his Solution? John realizes that now he needs to find a High PR page with a “follow” attribute.

His Task: Very hard to do!

Now how can John achieve a pagerank without the uses of website link exchanges or going through the struggles of not finding a “no follow” attribute page?

With this current method we’ve developed, John will be able to achieve a page rank of 4 within minutes!

1. Simply go to digg.com
2. Go to pages that are older than 365 days, which are guaranteed to view high page rank pages there. You can also find some in the newer sections of digg, too. But go to pages older than 365 days
3. Click on the comments of these stories and take a look.
4. Tell me what do you see–You will see high page rank pages. Most of them PR5 and up!
5. Check How Many Digg Users Commented On that Digg! If there are more than 50 comments, don’t bother posting your links for that high pr digg page, as your links will not be credited for the back link.
6. Once you find a High PR Digg Page with less than 50 Comments, all you have to do is make a comment and post your URL like this http://www.yourdomainname.com and that’s it.
7. Your link is now on a high page rank page for FREE!
8. Now just search around and keep looking you will find some pages that are really really high page rank such as pr8, Pr7 and more.

Repeat this process and you” have more authority in the search engines in no time!

Note: Usually you’ll want to choose the ones with the most diggs because they will usually have higher page rank…Now shih keep this quiet because too many people doing this will lose its effectiveness… “What’s told in the PLR eBook Club is kept in the PLR eBook Club.”

Tip: If you find a High Page Rank Digg with someone spamming their links. Check that user’s history, so you can track every digg page he has posted his links on.

For example: While I was finding the odd and low commented digg pages I recognized the usual links would show up from the same “spammers”. So I checked his profile and followed along to the sites that he posted to and sure enough they all had high PR…..all of them even a few PR 6.

Assuming you are already into an affiliate program, what would be the next thing you would want to do? Double, or even triple, your commissions, right? How do you do that?

Here are some powerful tips on how to boost your affiliate program commissions overnight.

1. Know the best program and products to promote. Obviously, you would want to promote a program that will enable you to achieve the greatest profits in the shortest possible time.

There are several factors to consider in selecting such a program. Choose the ones that have a generous commission structure. Have products that fit in with your target audience. And that has a solid track record of paying their affiliate easily and on time. If you cannot seem to increase your investments, dump that program and keep looking for better ones.

There are thousands of affiliate programs online which gives you the reason to be picky. You may want to select the best to avoid losing your advertising dollars.

Write free reports or short ebooks to distribute from your site. There is a great possibility that you are competing with other affiliates that are promoting the same program. If you start writing short report related to the product you are promoting, you will be able to distinguish yourself from the other affiliates.

In the reports, provide some valuable information for free. If possible, add some recommendations about the products. With ebooks, you get credibility. Customers will see that in you and they will be enticed to try out what you are offering.

2. Collect and save the email addresses of those who download your free ebooks. It is a known fact that people do not make a purchase on the first solicitation. You may want to send out your message more than six times to make a sale.

This is the simple reason why you should collect the contact information of those who downloaded your reports and ebooks. You can make follow-ups on these contacts to remind them to make a purchase from you.

Get the contact information of a prospect before sending them to the vendor’s website. Keep in mind that you are providing free advertisement for the product owners. You get paid only when you make a sale. If you send prospects directly to the vendors, chances are they would be lost to you forever.

But when you get their names, you can always send other marketing messages to them to be able to earn an ongoing commission instead of a one-time sale only.

Publish an online newsletter or Ezine. It is always best to recommend a product to someone you know than to sell to a stranger. This is the purpose behind publishing your own newsletter. This also allows you to develop a relationship based on trust with your subscribers.

This strategy is a delicate balance between providing useful information with a sales pitch. If you continue to write informative editorials you will be able to build a sense of reciprocity in your readers that may lead them to support you by buying your products.

3. Ask for higher than normal commission from merchants. If you are already successful with a particular promotion, you should try and approach the merchant and negotiate a percentage commission for your sales.

If the merchant is smart, he or she will likely grant your request rather than lose a valuable asset in you. Keep in mind that you are a zero-risk investment to your merchant; so do not be shy about requesting for addition in your commissions. Just try to be reasonable about it.

Write strong pay Per Click ads. PPC search engine is the most effective means of advertising online. As an affiliate, you can make a small income just by managing PPC campaigns such as Google AdWords and Overture. Then you should try and monitor them to see which ads are more effective and which ones to dispose of.
